You've Got What It Takes for Success

  • Resist the temptation to feel defeated.

Failing to achieve a goal does not mean you don’t have what it takes; it simply means you may want to rethink your approach.  When you have faith in your goals any setbacks you encounter are only temporary.

  • Success involves overcoming obstacles.

Some obstacles will seem trivial, some may even seem daunting, but in the end they must all be dealt with and solved. Problems may be unavoidable, but every problem can attract its own solution.

  • Dwell on the solutions not the problems.

The subconscious mind is working tirelessly 24hrs a day, sorting and acting on the information it receives from the conscious mind. By dwelling on your problems instead of solutions, are attracting more problems. Instead, dwell on solutions and you will attract solutions.

  • Life is constantly providing opportunities.

Where do these opportunities come from? The subconscious works in concert with the conscious mind. It doesn't analyze, it doesn't judge, it simply acts on what the conscious mind is telling it. By working together they create the reality we see around us.

While the subconscious won't attract success itself, it will attract the opportunities we need to succeed. Whether we take advantage of these opportunities or not is another story.

  • Evaluate your progress.

A good way to evaluate progress is to sit down once a week and examine the progress you've made towards attaining both your long and short term goals. If you are not satisfied, take the time to come up with some honest answers why.

  • The subconscious mind controls your motivation.

It is important to remember, that whatever you focus on is what the subconscious will believe. What messages are you giving it?

  • Success will become a habit.

As one success leads to another, success becomes a habit. Obstacles are seen as stepping stones, and as time goes on, you find yourself knowing you will succeed before you even start.
